Three ways to go about the science part of your Postcard Design
If you have not yet fitted with ad words that will work well with your postcard design, you need not worry. This is where the research part comes in. You can rent a pool to do the job for you. But you can also do it yourself.

You can now use their spy skills that might be prone to in your younger years. Do not be afraid to do so. You never know, your competitors are also monitored every advertising turn.
There are ways to do this part. It varies from simple to complex. But it’s really up to you how you want to do your research.
1 Immersion />
• Read books about these types of people.
• Hang out in a prison cell and interact with inmates to get a feel for how they think, how they act and talk.
• Look at old movies that have the same characters.
You can follow their lead when it comes to their immersion.
• Read the ads of your competitors. Look closely at what is the word they used on their card design. This is because you will be using the same method.
• Act as a client and read the ads targeted to you. Get a sense of what works and what does not. You also need to understand why.
• Read the old ads. This is so you get the impression the tools that have worked in the past. You can try to get some inspiration from them once in a while.
2 Deeper
Know what the market yearns for asking around. You can do the following:
• Interview. You can approach people individually and ask them about their opinions. You can also set the focus group discussions. Create a group debated extensively about their problems.
• Forms for data collection. You can also use this tool to ask of people and opinions. You can leave your stuff in various places. You can also mail them out. However, to increase the chances that recipients will respond and give them incentives or freebies, after they realized form.
3 Write your ideas
You never know when they will give you a good shot. So always be ready with pen and paper. There are times when ideas seem to flow endlessly. Write those down.
After a while, pick up those who are better than others. You can base it on current projects. Keep other things for future use.
